One of the higher-ups of the Altimit OS project has torn down the site after going through a childish fit because his idea wasn’t agreed with by the other staff members. He then changed all the server passwords and later deleted everything on the database. All Altimit OS refugees are welcome to join one of the staff’s communities, Dark. www.akarui-japan.com.
currently, the Altimit OS project is rumored to be done with now. Luckily, Dark, shall continue to work on The World R:1 in a 3D form. ((Unlike CCorp LTD.’s R:1 which is in SNES version and will be better quality than realmcrafter R:2)).
You’re kinda wrong on this. It isn’t dead. At least, not completely. Some of them (by them, I mean the people that were originally creating the OS) are moving to a new website. According to KiteDH (I think), they’re moving to a new website in October.
What you are right about is Dark. He got pissed, tore down the site, and is now saying that the entire project is for fags. No idea why he said that. KiteDH will be running the new site, which is supposedly going to be ALTIMIT.com.

You may be right on that (I haven’t been on Akarui for awhile) but it wasn’t Dark who tore down it was Intra. It was because he wasn’t having his ideas that he presented at a meeting accepted. Thats what I remember.
Oh, so it was Intra? I was pretty sure it was Dark. Believe me, the website WILL BE BACK. Just check the post on Akarui to see what I mean.

Intra tore down the site, Intra had the fit, and Intra halted the project.

I posted full details. Me and Intra have since made up, and he apologized for his irrational behavior, but I will not be continuing my work on the project. I am however, creating my own OS. I will provide Dev screens for those interested.

I am a huge fan of Altimit OS as depicted in .hack//SIGN and the other .hack project stuff. I really hope someone creates an OS for the PC that will blow microsoft’s windows OS right out of the water. I like Ubuntu linux a lot, but I have yet to find any linux distro that is as easy to use as windows, or that runs all the things windows runs without any problems. I hate windows sometimes, but it does a lot of stuff I need. There is no way I can convince anyone in my family to use linux until it practically IS windows, just not made by microsoft. *sigh* Somebody please rescue the world from microsoft, please!
