The Death of Alti-OS

One of the higher-ups of the Altimit OS project has torn down the site after going through a childish fit because his idea wasn’t agreed with by the other staff members. He then changed all the server passwords and later deleted everything on the database. All Altimit OS refugees are welcome to join one of the staff’s communities, Dark. www.akarui-japan.com.

currently, the Altimit OS project is rumored to be done with now. Luckily, Dark, shall continue to work on The World R:1 in a 3D form. ((Unlike CCorp LTD.’s R:1 which is in SNES version and will be better quality than realmcrafter R:2)).

Lucky Star preview

Kona-chan

A story of 4 highschool girls as they venture through the midst of highschool. Their names are Kagamin, Miyuki, Tsukasa, and Konata.

Akira-chan (Lucky Channel host)

plot (light skim)

It’s really kind of easy to describe what this is mainly about. It’s following around 4 highschool girls and continues to go up in their years (junior, senior, etc.) throughout the series of 24 episodes. It also has some light comedy similar to an unlicensed version of PaniPoni Dash except that it doesn’t really include everyone in the class with unique personalities and such.  Konata-chan is a female otaku and video game enthusiast who really doesn’t have any sort of plan for her future. She is really intelligent but doesn’t use it and sacrifices it for her love of VG (videogames) and Anime. She’s also got a special skill for cramming that fits well with her. ;D. Shes generally , out of the 4 girls, one of the most funniest and oddball-ish. Tsukasa-chan and Kagami-chan are fraternal twins who have some of the same major attributes as eachother, but, alot of their more detailed attributes such as hairstyle, personality, etc. are fairly different. For example, Tsukasa’s hair is short and has a cute, yellow, ribbon through it while Kagami’s hair is long and doesn’t have anything added to the hair. Kagami also likes videogames, like Konata-chan, but her favorite genre is fairly different from that of Konata-chan’s. She like scroll-shooters over RPG’s and MMO’s. As of recent, Tsukasa’s favorite videogame genres are unknown. Which now leaves us with one more character left, Miyuki-chan, with pink, long, hair and an attractive body she is quite popular with her male components in class (possibly the school). To add on she has a built in clumsiness, +20 attraction, most indefinite “mo3″.

Generally, It’ll have 24 episodes in the series and there are currently, in my knowledge, 6 episodes done the 7 episode shall be complete in fansubbing relatively soon, in theory atleast. Also, might I note, that in a few episodes your gauranteed to notice a couple of the items used as props, some might say. I hope this meets your criteria and you try out a few episodes.

Ah…webcomics

Ah…webcomics. The trendy addiction of the 21st centuries “cyber world”. It may be stronger for some and for others it may just be something they do when they have completely nothing at all to do other than looking at a blank webpage with a clear address bar.

Webcomics are one of my , new, favorite hobbies (sorta) that relate to the internet. I’m happy they’re there. I’m also grateful of all the skilled artists/photoshop (or other) geniuses who waste away a half of their time putting up, usually, weekly comic strips up for the internet world to see. Even though some people see them as some kind of internet newspaper comic strip (all thats missing to them would be the newspaper.) and think they always have to be funny, I like it when they sometimes get deeper than just a couple of laughs before going to check your e-mail (or other). When you may cry on depressing parts, dance around when something good happens, or chuckle at a small joke made by one of the characters.

So, in a nutshell, webcomics have almost been embedded into the whole mass of the internet culture. And all it’s different tribes. They’ve also evolved from simple laughs weekly, they’ve definitely evolved to a more elevated level of emotion. Although not all have a large, dramatic story with so many twists it causes headaches. Some are out there for the sole reason of entertainment and usually are based around video games and anime. Happily, theres variety now. ^^.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

The second Final Fantasy game , so far, to be released on the DS. It was released on April 26th in Japan. The US release date is yet to be decided by Square Enix.

Taking place only 2 years after the events in FFXII on the PS2. Vaan is now a full-fledged sky pirate. It sports most of the familiar players from the previous game, possibly some new characters. Now that it is after the war over Rabanastre, and all is peaceful, Vanna and Penelo find themselves sporting uneventful lives. Then one night an airship lands and they decide to commandeer it. Then they fly off to a new continent (?) called Lemures , now with a whole series of events going on, there will be judges, and a whole load of sky pirates. Positively.

I’m really curious to see which comes out first. Dragon Question IX or Final Fantasy XII: RW. I know that I’m going to be getting both for their unique reviews. ;P The question is, which’ll be better? It seems , from screenshots, that Dragon Quest IX’s graphics seem much better. Although, FFIII had the equal graphics yet FFXII:RW doesn’t seem to have similar graphics.
