Manga Quest Prt. 1

Yes, what all the people who pass over my site and come back have been waiting for. (Even if you were unaware.) Is now here. ((NOTE: First time using pictures.))

The first place I am starting with is the surprisingly popular and widespread bookstore chain, Borders.

It’s really a nice to look for more popular manga, which can be a grace or a curse, it’s good for people who aren’t looking for manga thats not as well known. They are slightly stocked but usually just “seem” to not have the right volume that your looking for unless you get there early in the morning. (Why should I be complaining, thats true about all things…).

I feel that Borders is good for anyone that doesn’t want to waste a few miles to get to there favored bookstore. Seeing as they’ve got atleast one Borders in every town.

The overall manga selection is pretty nice usually a whole shelf and then a half of another shelf.

Although good selection comes with unfair, sucky prices. You can usually tell though by the price what the quality of the manga is $10 being the best, $7 being intermediate, and $4 being about the lowest quality. If your not a fan of expensive manga and go buy the saying of “Manga, crack is cheaper” then I just suggest getting Manga from your library.

In the conclusion, if you’d like to complete your collection of Naruto or Rurouni Kenshin then I highly suggest going here if not then the internets the way to go.

Sasuke-chan’s art…

I know that I just have to, HAVE TO, put up a description everytime I add something to my blogroll. It’s my way of welcoming it to the “Blogroll Family” and also to tell you what it is and why I added it.

 Since it’s only one thing this time I can give more detail into my description of it. I know that some of you may think that I am just a push-over adding my friends deviantart onto the blogroll but her art is worth the position. It is actually good!

   My friend, Sasuke, made all of the work on that site and although it’s not much it’s quality. Something you don’t see much of in this time of the world. You usually see a quantity over quality sort of thing I have nothing against that understanding that with the masses of buyers out there you need to be able to make more than one and fast. Sometimes though big industries abuse this power and claim that this is why they have such bad quality items. Now what you usually don’t see everyday is a quality over quantity matter. My friend has succeeded in just doing so.

  As a note though, Sasuke-chan’s a girl and although she likes Naruto the anime didn’t choose that as her “Pen name” for that reason but because she felt that name best classified her. I’d like for you to, although I am not forcing but asking, check it out and maybe leave a comment or two. ;D

Anime Reviews coming soon to a theater near you!

Hey people I’m sure your thinking, “Where the heck did all your reviews go?!”, well I have been thinking the same thing. My answer to that is that I don’t have anything really to review. Now I could do a preview for you if you wanted for the animes that I am currently working with.

   The reason is that I have been skipping around alot deciding what animes I really want to watch. Since it takes atleast 1 to 2 hours to download two episodes it has tooken me awhile to figure out which animes to stick with and finish. Warning you now though the animes will be unlicensed so don’t freak out if you haven’t heard of them. Just do a wiki search or something. I should probably figure out how to put up a section on the sidebar with a “What I’m watching” effect to it of which I need to ask certain people for help on that.

   I also put this up because I felt like writing something and this was the only topic I could sum up that made any sense to anyone who doesn’t know my day to day life. Also so that if I did put up a topic from my real life problems such as a rant I’d get to re-name this “Blog for my daily rants” so that the rest of the public would know my change in plans for this place. Oh yeah for anyone who doesn’t know the routine of Megatokyo comics and such the newest strip is out for the Omake and another one will be out on Friday.

((NOTE: Directed for New Megatokyo people. Sometimes the strips are sometimes put out to the public really early in the morning or late late at night. So caution! >.<))

Pokemon D & P’s cousin soon to be revealed

Just recently CoroCoro, a Japanese Gaming Magazine, stated that in it’s next issue it will be unveiling the “Cousin” pokemon game for Diamond and Pearl. Many people have already predicted that there will be a “cousin” game just from taking a look at Nintendo and Gamefreaks’ strategic way of releasing games.

 For example, a cousin game would be Emerald version because it is still in the same region as the two main games, Ruby and Sapphire, but it’s got different things added. Like Rayquaza as your main legendary pokemon and how the story is just a bit tweaked from the two header games. Also with Crystal being the “cousin” of Gold and Silver versions. This means that it’ll be having a few tweaked things to it from the plot and storyline of the two main games.

 I’d like to point out that they are only “unveiling” it to the, mainly, general Japanese society. So don’t start freaking out that it’s already done and will be releasing in JP soon after the release of D & P in the US. Really they are only trying to inform the JP society and not the US society it’s only the researchers who do the kind of work of peaking into JP societies news in gaming, anime, and technology all together. That being said in a more detailed sentence, I am basically saying that it’s got a 98% chance of being the D & P cousin over a Pokemon Wii game.

 I’m looking forward to May issue which will be out in Japan on April 15 2007 just 7 days before the US release of D & P.
